Metas Slat-band Chain Conveyor
Conveyor with a length of 46 m with a subsequent disintegrator and suction removal station.
The project planning and implementation of the system for ITAG occurred in Celle. The shavings generated in this company during the fabrication of screws and the boring of deep holes is disposed of 24 hours per day by the system. The system processes metal shavings produced by three lathes, which can be used to process varying types of steel into various emulsions. This represents a real challenge for the disposal system. The switching point, especially developed for this system, ensures the materials are properly sorted.
The disintegrator and tank-to-tank pumping station, connected directly to the conveyor, handle the grinding and the onward transportation of the shavings.
The especially heavy-duty design with the integrated tank-to-tank pumping station reaches a delivery rate of 3 cubic metres per minute.
